“One girl’s courage”: Latest New York Times column featuring the IRC's work

“…the International Rescue Committee says that only one-half of 1 percent of the rapes it deals with in Sierra Leone lead to convictions. I soon saw the challenges first hand.”

- Nicholas D. Kristof, in his latest New York Times column, describing the courageous efforts of a 15-year-old girl named Fulamatu to find justice after being raped by a neighbor.  The IRC is helping Fulamatu and many other rape survivers like her in Sierra Leone and around the world.
